Helpful to have ready
None of it is required, but it speeds things along: the rough lot size, what is bothering you about the yard, whether there is a sprinkler system, the trees you are worried about and roughly how big they are, any HOA rules you know of, and a couple of photos. If a tree is on a structure or a limb is hanging over a walkway, say that first.
What happens after you call
Someone calls back to set a time for a walk-through, usually within two or three days. On the visit they look at the sun, soil, slope, trees and sprinklers, talk through what you want, and write an itemized estimate, free and good for 30 days. For design work there is a plan fee, credited against the installation. Nothing is scheduled and no deposit is taken until you approve the estimate.
Storm damage, a tree on the house, a limb over the driveway? Say so on the call. Those visits are dispatched by priority, the same day where there is a hazard, and the paperwork follows.
A yard that looks after itself in a Texas summer starts with a walk-through.
Mowing, trees, beds, irrigation, stone, lighting or a whole new front yard: tell us what you have in mind and someone calls back to set up a visit. Written prices, no deposit until you approve a plan.
